The role of the broker.
Skyfleet Limited is an independent broker, not a lender. We work with a selected panel of lenders – information on the
lenders we work with & their associated products are available upon request. This panel of lenders may be able to
assist you in financing your immediate and future vehicle needs. We do not offer facilities from lenders outside of this
panel.
The role of the broker is to provide you with all the information you need so that you can make an informed decision on
whether the products & services offered are suitable to your needs.
Many customers utilise the services of a broker when searching for a new vehicle & accompanying finance contract.
Brokers may have access to multiple leasing companies with special offers and preferential rates and should be able to
offer you the most competitive contract hire rates available. These are often better than individuals or businesses can
access directly with manufacturers or dealers.
The broker will be able to offer you quotes on most makes & models and be able to assist you in finding the most
suitable vehicle and funding method for your business. Ultimately it is your decision though and the broker is not there
to give you specific advice on the suitability of the products & services they offer, but to provide you with all relevant
information you need to make a final decision.
The broker will take you through the funding process and arrange the credit required for the lender to purchase the
vehicle . They will source the vehicle with the best discounts available and guide you through the process from quote to
delivery stage.
Once the vehicle has been delivered, most brokers will try to assist with any mid-term contract requirements, and help
with end of contract needs, such as returning vehicles or arranging extensions. Bear in mind it remains the
responsibility of the customer to ensure their vehicle is returned at the end of the agreement. It is the customers
responsibility to ensure the vehicle remains within the agreed annual mileage and is maintained in accordance with the
manufacturer’s guidelines.
Skyfleet Limited are an established credit broker & vehicle sourcing agent for the motor industry, we have been helping
our customers with their vehicle requirements since 1997 and have well established relationships with 6 of the UK’s
most popular sector lenders. We have a wealth of experience and access to special offers, at preferential rates, many
being stock deals, available for immediate delivery. We only use suppliers that are reliable & trustworthy & we expect
them to maintain high professional standards with all our customers.
What the broker is not responsible for.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they have checked the vehicle & the specification is suitable for their
purposes and to ensure they understand the terms & conditions of the lease agreement and the financial commitment
involved before entering into any long-term agreement. A broker is not a lender and does not provide or dictate the
terms of a lease.
A broker has no control over when vehicles will arrive or become available for delivery and cannot be held responsible
for any delays in your vehicle being delivered or related costs. Skyfleet Limited provide all our customers with regular
updates and will always endeavour to give you as much notice as possible in the event your vehicle suffers any delivery
delays. Delivery expectations are always estimated and based on the information that we are provided with at the time.
We never guarantee any delivery period or date, and it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they remain
mobile until their new vehicle is delivered. Skyfleet Limited will not be held responsible for any costs the customer
incurs whilst they are waiting for their new vehicles to be delivered.
A broker is not a vehicle supplier or a manufacturer and is not responsible for arranging, or paying for any
maintenance, servicing & repair costs or warranty issues. Once the vehicle has been delivered, the customer is
responsible for the vehicle throughout the period of the lease. The manufacturer and their dealer networks, not the
broker, are responsible for the quality and reliability of their products and for providing the customer with a high level
of service in the event of any technical difficulties or breakdown. A broker will generally do what they can to assist with
any technical difficulties but cannot directly resolve any vehicle issues post-delivery. Skyfleet Limited will not be held
responsible for any costs incurred by their customers, in the event of any technical difficulties that keep their vehicles
off the road throughout the duration of the vehicle contract.
It is not the responsibility of the broker to ensure their vehicle is returned at the end of the agreement. It is not the
responsibility of the broker to ensure the vehicle remains within the agreed annual mileage and is maintained in
accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
Brokers are generally not tax specialists, and it is recommended that customers seek professional advice before
entering into any leasing agreement.
